About Us

Founded in 2010, the purpose of the Irish American Hall of Fame is to preserve the “story” of the Irish in America, thus becoming a resource for all Americans or those interested in the development and history of America including academic researchers, teachers, and students of Irish and American history at all levels, those interested in genealogy, cultural historians and the general public.

The Irish American Hall of Fame is operated under the auspices of the Irish American Heritage Center, a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization located within the IAHC.

Our Mission

The mission of the Irish American Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of Irish Americans to society in the areas of Arts & Humanities, Business & Industry, Public Service, Sports, Religion, Education, and Science.

The Irish American Hall of Fame will also pay tribute to exemplary Americans of Irish heritage who have truly shaped the Irish American identity in the United States.

Our Vision

The Irish American Hall of Fame will preserve and promote the “story” of Irish culture by recognizing the contributions of individuals to the Irish-American experience.

Telling their story preserves our story. The Irish American Hall of Fame will be a place where the shared story of the Irish in America will be available to all with interest in the bond between Ireland and America.

Irish American Heritage Center

The Irish American Heritage Center (IAHC), is one of the premier Irish cultural organizations in the United States. It is a destination for people of Irish descent as well as those who wish to learn more about the Irish heritage.
